A number of years ago, my husband came home and proudly announced that HE had gotten me a job, well in fact HE had actually just bought the ENTIRE distribution center of the old Eagle Hardware. At the time, being a stay at home mom, who was very involved with the elementary school that our two sons were then attending, a member of the PTA, and helping in the care of my 8-year-old nephew Kellen who was dying of a brain tumor -- I was as you might imagine, not entirely THRILLED!! We spent many a day/night and weekend locating a building that we could rent and that would hold 28 40'containers full, and I mean full of merchandise.
Our first location was in the then "old Villa Plaza" I called Laurie M. "Hey Laurie, what are you doing for the next 3 months...we got this great deal. We're gonna open up and sell all this stuff at great prices and then make a bunch of money and close it up..." Well, 7½ years later we are still in business, buying more than we are selling and waiting for YOU!!!
